On Sweden and the desecration of Qur'an

 

In January this year, a far right Danish Politician burnt the Qur'an in front of the Turkish Embassy in Sweden which resulted in mass protests across the Muslim world. 

Sweden is 4th on freedom of speech, 7th on happiness index, 12th on HDI and 10th on Global Peace Index and many more accolades. So this country is one of the most egalitarian country on earth propagating hate in the name of freedom of speech. This is the magnificent example of Liberalism.

When Qur'an is burnt by the permission of secular governments the naive Muslim psyche says that it can be restored cover to cover, there are many memorizes of Qur'an, you can burn but we have millions of copies and so on. This is the succumbing mindset which reconciles and convinces itself that they still have some arguments to defend their ignominy. Have you ever heard that a country saying that we can produce as many flags as we want when someone burn its flag. In fact there are strict laws on flag desecration in different countries. In Argentina, it is 1 - 4 years of imprisonment. In Germany, it is fine and maximum 5 years of imprisonment. Switzerland , Spain, New Zealand, Taiwan, etc also criminalizes public flag desecration and dishonouring it. The person burning or tearing the Qur'an doesn't care if you have million or billion copies of it. It is a symbolic gesture of protest that he hates the book and the people believing in it. Have you ever thought there are other major world religions like Christianity and Judaism but why they don't burn Bible or Torah? 

The Muslim countries who are reciprocating in diplomatic manner will just be there till the crowd disperse. They cannot come up with conclusive measures to tackle these problems. The protests are just to satisfy the incompetence of the Muslim world who cannot create a robust policy for such desecrations. The only thing common masses is reduced to do is to post their agitation on social media which brings nothing but satisfaction to their rhapsodical psychology. 

There are laws which put sane people behind bars for not calling the Alphabet community (Lgbtqia+) with their made up pronouns. They are less than 2% of the world's population but they have injected their degenerative mindset into the mind of majority and somehow convinced the policy makers to overlook the basic biology and fulfill their demands. So, if we think that desecration and dishonouring Qur'an or any holy book should be duly handled by law then stop making those arguments and demand for laws to protect it.
