Martyr, Martyrdom and West
History bears testimony to the fact that any land nourished by the blood of martyrs does not fall to treacherous megalomaniacs. You will find ample examples from the Prophet's life and some from contemporary times.
The notion of martyrdom is much contested. However, for Muslims, it is crystal clear and diverges from Western notions. The West thinks it has made Haniyeh and Sinwar fall, but little do they realize that martyrs are raised to a destination beyond their comprehension.
Since the launch of the so-called War on Terror (read it as crusade against Islam), they have not yet been able to make sense of this indomitable spirit, which emanates from the resistance of martyrs. They bound their notion of martyrs within petty national state boundaries, whereas the martyrdom of their opponents is transcendental.
No one can rationalize this except those who desire martyrdom. By now, they should have realized that they cannot defeat a people who do not fear death and instead treat martyrdom as victory.
Since the Westphalian Treaty, the West has never been as exposed as it is now, with all its illusionary ideals crumbling to dust. Whether or not Gaza will collapse remains to be seen, but the West, with its cancerous child (Isr@€|), is collapsing very fast.
And remember, martyrs never die.
